Charlotte Cardiology Associates joins Carolinas Physicians Network
Effective September 1, 2007, Charlotte Cardiology Associates became part of Carolinas Physicians Network. "The close cooperation between Carolinas Medical Center hospitals and Charlotte Cardiology Associates goes back many years in serving patients in the Charlotte region," said Dr. F. Scott Valeri. "Now we are able to look forward to an even closer and more beneficial relationship."

CCA began serving Charlotte 34 years ago and has expanded to provide hospital-based services in Pineville, Matthews and Huntersville, as well as Stanly and Union counties and Lancaster, SC. "Charlotte Cardiology Associates has a distinguished history of providing cardiac care to Charlotte and the surrounding region," said Joseph Piemont, executive vice president of Carolinas HealthCare System. "Working together with CPN through this combination of outstanding physicians and staff will help meet the demand for cardiology services more effectively in this growing region."
